My store closed forever, they built a new one that we just opened today. Well the old one still had a ton of books in it and, well, for the Mass Market Paperback books, the return procedure is to strip the cover off and "throw away" the book to save on shipping. And sence all the books are going to be returned...well...its a nice fucking perk.

Every Steven King Book
Every Robert Ludlum Book
Every Tom Clancy Book
Every Grisham Book
(every book in the store that is)
Issac Asmoz
Tolken
A few bartending books
Some Romance stuff for my mom
A copy of every dictionary
And some random stuff.

(oh and I'll never read those l.ron hubbard books, I just told myself I'd never pay for them, probably end up burning them)

I asked the manager if there was a different copy because I thought I, Robot was a short story and she said that it was a series of short stories. So whatever, it was free.

yeah but thats like saying, you shouldn't advertise at all to your target demographic because you might inadvertantly end up selling your product. I acutally kind of like my ipod (got one because the high and mighty creative V i got fucking broke randomly while still on return policy)

I can't say I have seen advertisements for any of the mp3 players that I or my friends have.

I honestly think the software for ipod hardware is great, best implementation of any of the media players.

and how is that Apple's Fault, maybe if creative would throw around a few advertisements here and there they would become a tad bit more popular with the regular joe.

Theres a point where you become so anti-trendy that you start denouncing products that are actually pretty nice just because all the douchebags and dramaqueens have them. I'm not going to become all EMO and become a slave to the RIAA machine. Hell, I still have Sinatra, Mozart, And Wham on my MP3 player, and I acutally like the NPR story of the day podcasts. So sue me
