This is a change of topic somewhat but has got me thinking. Why wasn't Mark Foley immediately arrested and why isnt he facing a trial date right now instead of walking around saying he can't help himself?
He did the same thing on the internet these men did. Publically it is not known if he met these boys but from their conversations it seems like he has or at least he has with some in the past. -------------------- Little monkeys making money

I think its funny that everyone is going "omg he wrote the law and he was convicted" he probably wrote the law with the loopholes in mind knowing his perversion |

In past episodes they have been required to use deputized minors to be solicited in the chat in order to arrest the guys. I dont know if it was just the state they were in, or if a federal law has been passed to get rid of the formality. So for people like you, these guys WERE actually soliciting a minor... who was deputized.
Do you really think that it matters that the soliciting of these "percieved" minors is any less horrible because they are walking into a trap? I guess you feel bad for the car thiefs who car jack "sting" or "bait" cars put somewhere by cops that shutdown and lock the thiefs in too. Those poor car thiefs and child molestors didn't get to ACTUALLY commit the crime against an INNOCENT person before they could be held liable....  No matter how you looked at it, these people are trying to commit rape... they aren't "entrapped" to do it either because no logical person will say they would "accidently" fall into a trap to go have sex with a 13 year old (the men believe they are 13 and go there for sexual reasons). Im amazed you find it wrong BECAUSE they didn't have the chance to hurt an innocent first. |
