Apparently it got good reviews. Some think it's a terrible thing calling for the assassination of the president, but it's really an attempt to show just how such a thing would impact the country without having to use fictional characters. If you make it the "real" president who gets assassinated, it is hoped that it will hit closer to home and open people's eyes.

It's not a stunt, as far as I can tell. Just an intriguing way to tell a story.

No it's an attempt to show what the people making the movie think would happen. I'm sure they got plenty of jollies in whatever scene Bush gets killed in too.

well i guess once the movie is out we'll see whether or not it's a political stunt. i'll remain skeptical until then.
