The lowest number of points that Texas Tech has scored in a home game over the last five years is 12, when they beat Texas A&M 12-0 in 2001. During that same time period, they have been held to under 23 points twice: 13 against Oklahoma in 2001 and 21 against Texas in 2004. In 2000, the Red Raiders were held to under 20 points three times in their eight home games: 13 against North Texas, three against Nebraska and 17 against Texas. That being said, Tech has not lost to a North Division team at home since 2001 and has only done so twice during Mike Leach's tenure as head coach. ok.. so far we've averaged 33.8 ppg (48.5 at home) while mizzou has allowed 10.0.
Only allowing 10 ppg sounds great, until you look at the teams they played, and the fact that 4 of their first 5 games were at home. Colorado (0-5) home Murray St (1-4) home Ole Miss (1-4) home New Mexico (2-3) away Ohio (2-3) home |
