depends on how you look at it....
perhaps its a viscious circle we are in with muslim extremists.... like we treat them like shit because they treat us like shit and vice versa. or is this something that couldnt have ever been avoided? like do they envy us for who we are, how we spend our money, and what god we trust in. if its the second, then there is no way that diplomacy will work. perhaps in the very short future....but nothing long term |

in my mind you cant condone torture in some circumstances and then not abide by that in others. it is either an inherently evil thing or its not. in my mind because it is going against one of the most fundamental agreements in human society. that and the hypocracy of invading a country because the leader had been known to torture his people and then go around and torture his people and others
