I dont know what I think about all this. My hope is just to shed an opposing light on all of this. Sometimes I think its good to look at things from both sides, not just be like THIS IS SO STUPID ITS FULL OF SHIT BLAH BLAH BLAH. If you think that its bullshit, do something about it! - plain and simple. Sitting on your ass posting on a message board that is frequented by 20-30 people wont do much as far as swaying the vote. Honestly, I think we are all completely fooled by government. I think a lot of what has been made so public during the Bush administration has been going on for decades. At least we know what is going on now and if we dont like it we can vote for officials that say they share our perspective (no one will know for sure if the really do or not). I dont think these torture methods should be blamed solely on the Bush administration. We all could think of other times that they have been used under different presidencies. I argue the opposite of the majority on here. Its what I do...not to create drama or to gain attention, but I think that people need to know why they believe what they believe...show me proof where people are being inhumanely tortured, show me proof that this wasnt going on before, show me.... If you believe it, you must have a reason.
