When you see this type of interview, it's always people walking around the streets in midday, i.e. not at work. Statistics people would call that a skew or bias. Just makes you think. And yes, the average person in any country is just as uninformed.

my sister who was german and mostly eduated in germany although she did spend some time in UT didnt know where portugal was. but then again one of my nephews spoke german, japanese, and had a good grasp on english when he was 7
