I got a rifle for graduation and am looking for a decent place to go shooting...
a friend of mine said he went to patriot firearms and that it was pretty good... but he thought it was pistol only. I would like more of a gunclub that has an outdoor rifle range, just a shade cover with some benches and tables and a birm down range... I dont mind paying a reasonable monthly fee. And fewer people is better, at the place I go to near my grandmas we'll shoot for a couple hours and maybe see one other vehicle, and they're usually headed down to the skeet range. A buddy of mine mentioned he goes and shoots at "the crater" apparently its like a giant dirt hole somewhere south of town, doesnt know if its legal to shoot there... he mentioned it during the spring, but graduated. Does anyone know what he was talking about? and since its a badass gun ![]() -------------------- ~Clatto Verata Nicto

I'd suggest Rustic Range, that's where I go. There are always some guys out there with pretty high powered rifles and the prices are pretty good.
Drop the front grip (replace with bipod), get a better sight, and you'll be good to go. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

yah a better sight is on the list of things to get...
I could mount a bipod in front of the front grip... pretty sure my uncle has some that clip on and off pretty easy... not sure tho I'll prolly have my uncle pay me in parts and accessories now... I'll have to check out the rustic range, do you have a url or streetaddress/hours? -------------------- ~Clatto Verata Nicto

rustic range is where i qualified. it's an outdoor course, and you can fire just about anything there, as long as in doesn't get into the explosive ammunition variety.
