it's still very beta and stuff, but apparently microsoft sent special vans around seattle and san francisco and took pictures at peoples-eye views, you can like drive your view and shite all over the map. Hard to explain, but fun to play around with. -------------------- WAIT. I'm not finished.

Google and Yahoo have done something similar... Gotta find the website. I think Yahoo is still doing it and their vans are brightly marked.

i read a few months ago that google had vans goin around large citys getting pics so it can be tossed into the 3d renderings of google maps.
