ok so i know the xbox 360 is out now...and the ps3 will probably be out soon too, but i'm just wondering which out of these two is usually considered better?
i may pick one up. the main game i'm interested in is ncaa football, but i'm sure i'd get more down the road. --------------------  |

the xbox is way better. I don't know anyone that has a ps2 that actually still works anymore.

i've had my ps2 for 5 years and it still works and i know plenty of people with ps2s that work perfectly.
the xbox is much better, though. |

I never played many games on the XBox, so I voted PS2. However, if the games you want are available on both, then the XBox is probably your better bet.

I just bought an xbox 2 days ago, mainly just to play the Fight Night series and Mortal Kombat: Armageddon (when it comes out). I had heard the Fight Night games have slightly better graphics on the xbox, and I think that's probably true of several games.
The only thing I really don't like about the XBOX is the shitty backwards-compatibility nightmares that I would have if I someday get a 360 and want to play my old xbox games. |

xbox hands down
xbox can be modded, you can download and store hundreds of games on the hard drive, rip rented and borrowed games directly to the hard drive, run nes, snes, genesis, ps, n64, and gameboy emulators on it, play dvds without buying a dongle, etc. ps2 just plain sucks, loads slow, graphics blow, games suck, controller sucks, and has a pre-teen fanboi crowd who sucks it's cock despite it's huge suckness |
