with the crappy drainage lubbock has? would be pretty interesting to put those log-ride boats in those tunnels to travel in though

Lubbock has crappy drainage because THERE ARE NO DRAINS. I swear to god, that town has fewer than a dozen sewer drains across the whole freakin' city...

Yes. Or tear down that unused dorm (forget the name)... But there's already a traffic problem on University, guess a parking garage there would just make it worse.

i totally agree, but hey, i guess this is okay because the one thing lubbock needs is more ridiculously overpriced apartments that are going to be 40% full.

lubbock doesnt really need a drainage system thus why it was never made with one. it doesnt need one more than the total cost of putting in a drainage system through an existing city

at least it's affordable! ermm.gif

am I reading this right?
1,554sqft.... $2,590.00/Month

I had an apt in manhattan that was 1000sqft and $2400 a month. and the LBK is a far cry from the financial district...

the UP was a shithole...cinder block ass painted walls felt like many a barracks I had been in.

they've lost their lily-white minds...

yeah but now that lubbock is expanding, water has a hard time being redirected like it was designed....

you take a flat area...stick miles and miles of concrete on it and you get major flooding

Houston is a prime example....

houston has fairly adequate drainage for a swamp land. if it dont my parents house would be under 15 feet of water. lubbock is a far cry from being in any way comparable to houston

houston has a lot of drainage but it's definitely not adequate....

houston drainage is fine until you camp a tropical storm on top of it.

any city will flood with that much rainfall.
