i want to get my body fat percentage done, muscle to fat ratio. i know theres several ways to calculate it but i think going through the various tests would be more accurate. i am well on my way to being able to kick through a car door

h-cup the swoll niggas

I actually bought one of those scales that do the electrical body fat % with ...

I read a few articles on them before I bought one, and if you do them right (IE, don't eat for 12 hours before and stay very hydrated) it's supposed to be accurate to a BMI-by-water thing within like %2 or something...

It at least has worked well enough for a baseline that I can tell I'm slightly replacing fat with muscle, as I keep being able to lift more but my body weight hasn't really fluctuated more than 10 pounds in the last month or so, and I'm pretty sure that fluction has been resultant of varying degrees of cardio ... I sure as fuck ain't stopped eatin like a starving elephang anyways sad.gif

heh smile.gif

QUOTE (Rocky @ Jul 11 2006, 06:57 PM)
No idea, probably 240s, hell if I know.

I purposely don't keep up with my weight as a number because it means nothing to me right now, I know when I'm gaining or losing bodyfat, and don't really care about the body numbers.

Now when I get my body to a shape that I find optimal, then I'll worry about getting my lifting numbers to correspond to with a % to my weight !  I wanna get all big lifts up to 200-250%+ of bodyweight.  THAT will take a ridiculous amount of work, but thats just the nigga I am !  Must focus !

yeah it's a lot easier to throw weight like that when we you're like 165. this 200+ shit is for the birds. gone are the days of my 42 pullups...I'm lucky if I can get 20 on a good day now.

fatty

at a young age I was obssessd with weighing myself. I started wrestling in the 6th grade and did that for the next 6 years.

it was like I was a chick with an eating disorder and weight anxiety...not out of looks, but weight classes you know?

the only time I weigh now is when I go for my annual physical.

I think my sister is around 170 and she's thin and athletic. (she won't tell me, but at 5'11" that bitch HAS to weight more than 160!)

like I said, I'll never get why females are so freaked out about weight.
