Al-Masri, purported by the U.S. gov to be Al-Zarqawi's successor has turned up in an Egyptian prison, and he's been there for 7 years!

It looks like Jorge Bush will have to invent another boogeyman.

New al-Zarqawi in Egyptian Prison
Thursday July 06th 2006, 11:20 am

“Egyptian newspaper Al-Masri al-Yawm has quoted Mamduh Ismail as saying he met al-Muhajir, also known as Sharif Hazaa, or Abu Ayub al-Masri, in Tura prison in Cairo, where he has been held for seven years,” reports al-Jazeera. Mamduh Ismail is an Egyptian attorney representing Abu Hamza al-Muhajir, the purported successor of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi as leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq. “Sharif Hazaa [al-Muhajir] is in Tura prison, and I met him two days ago while I was visiting some of my clients,” Ismail told al-Jazeera. In response, the Pentagon replied: “We cannot comment on the news that … al-Masri is in an Egyptian prison and not in Iraq, we have to clarify that from the Egyptian government.” In other words, the Pentagon will simply wait for this embarrassing detail to fall off the corporate media radar screen.

In addition to al-Jazeera, Free Market News, Raw Story, and al-Bawaba (Jordan) reported the story. Naturally, the corporate media completely ignored the story, as al-Muhajir is slotted to be the new al-Zarqawi.

Apparently, the grand daddy of ISI-CIA created terrorism, Osama bin Laden, remains unaware al-Muhajir is rotting in Tura prison in Cairo. In a recent communiqué, bin Laden urged “Abu Hamza al-Muhajir, al-Zarqawi’s successor, ‘to concentrate his fight against the Americans and their supporters in their war on Muslims in Iraq,’” according to the Jamestown Foundation, citing a post of bin Laden’s speech posted on a Muslim website. “The appointment of Abu Hamza al-Muhajir—reportedly a former member of al-Zawahiri’s Egyptian Islamic Jihad—to succeed al-Zarqawi is clearly meant to curtail the excesses of al-Qaeda in Iraq.” It should be noted that al-Zawahiri’s Egyptian Islamic Jihad originated with the Muslim Brotherhood, long a British and American intelligence asset.

“Bin Laden endorsed Abu Hamza al-Muhajir, also believed to have the name of Abu Ayyub al-Masri, as the new leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq after the killing of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi in a U.S. air strike on June 7,” reports the Turkish Daily News. Discounting the Jamestown Foundation’s claim that Osama is not interested in killing the Shia majority in Iraq and thus igniting further sectarian violence—as demanded by the neocons at the behest of the Jabotinsky Likudites in Israel—the Turkish Daily News explains “Bin Laden, a Sunni Muslim from a school that sees Shiite Muslims as heretics, said the Sunni Arab minority in Iraq was being annihilated…. He said Shiites could not ‘violate’ Sunni cities in Iraq and at the same time expect their own areas to remain ’safe from retaliation and harm.’”

In short, the “Zionist Plan for the Middle East,” as formulated by Oded Yinon, formerly a senior Israeli Foreign Affairs Ministry official, is on schedule, no matter that al-Muhajir sits in the hoosegow.

For the Pentagon, this revelation is little more than a casting conflict, as the American people will apparently believe anything, including the fairy tale that cave-dwelling Muslims pulled off nine eleven, even though seven of the supposed 19 hijackers are alive and well (see At Least 7 of the 9/11 Hijackers are Still Alive).

Uhh, no, U.S. gov made him up.

Who's to say these insurgents just used that name to keep the CIA guessing? Didn't they use an alias/psuedonym for the person when they released their video announcing the successor?

It's amazing some of the notions that people will subscribe to because it's on the interweb...

It's amazing that nowadays people just want to insult people instead of politefuly engaging in a free and open discussion. Our founding fathers would be proud.

I didn't "insult" you until I posted a couple of key questions (which, by the way, have yet to addressed).

Since when did you become "anti-name-calling-inflammatory-remarks-man"?
