Anybody ever tried using used/filtered vegetable oil to fuel their car as per Mythbusters specs? Apparently, it works. But they made no mention of potential damage or other effects on the vehicle. Anybody ever tried this?

No and I don't think I would... No telling how long it would keep its lubricating properties...
