I have noticed the last few days that I have a constant pain right at the top of right thigh where the leg meets the pelvis. I have had it off and on before but it's starting to get annoying.

It wraps around to my lower back and my lower right abdomen. It's just a deep pain that's hard to explain.

Anyone have any idea what this could be?

Yeah. I would say to see a doctor. I've had a pain similar to what you're describing and it turned out to be a hernia.

Did you just recently start lifting weights or something?

maybe a pulled groin muscle or really sore.

right now im trying to remember to just stretch my right hamstring whenever i think about it. its getting to the point where i cant walk properly.

maybe get a warming pad and leave it on for awhile and then stretch

I run all the time and I've had the running pains before and this is just different. That and the fect that it runs to my lower right back is what bothers me.

if you run a lot it could be an over-use injury, happened to me in the knee when i bumped up to 5 miles regularly

when i was running a lot more i had strained my hamstrings and they were so tight that it, unknowingly to me, made my running gate irregular thus put more strain on my back muscles. over time it developed into a strain/pinched nerves and from there got really painful. just because it may be a running injury doesnt mean it couldnt affect other seemingly random muscles.
if its bad enough go to the doctor and they will prescribe a muscle relaxant.

to me it just sounds like a muscle pain/nerve deal. if it was a skeletal issue you would most definitely feel and notice it more.

pulled muscle, stretched muscle, hernia, or maybe some sort of nerve pinch

recommendation....if you experience anything out of the ordinary or unberable pain

Maybe a sciatic nerve pinch. Does it ever run all the way down the back of your leg? I had those pains for a long time and finally went in to get it checked out, turns out it was a bulging L5-S1 disc and ended up having surgery to get it fixed (most of it sucked out and drilled out some room for the nerve).

Never goes down my leg, just wraps around my back and my lower right abdomen...
