AT&T will track the viewing habits of it's new video/TV service (something that cable and satellite providers are prohibited from doing). 3. AT&T requires you to agree to the new privacy policy or have your accounts canceled. |

i didn't know cable companies couldn't track what you watch... how do they come up with tv show ratings and crap then?

Alot of these companies give a voluntary device to hook up to your tv to monitor what is being watched. |

thank god for VOIP. my parents recently got it and it kicks ass...even shows caller ID on the TV !!

yeah i've heard of the nielsen ratings, just didn't know how they actually got the stats.
