BAGHDAD, Iraq - The bodies of two U.S. soldiers reported captured last week have been recovered, and an Iraqi defense ministry official said Tuesday the men were "killed in a barbaric way." The U.S. military said the remains were believed to be those of Pfc. Kristian Menchaca, 23, of Houston, and Pfc. Thomas L. Tucker, 25, of Madras, Ore. U.S. Maj. Gen. William Caldwell said U.S. forces -- part of a search involving some 8,000 American and Iraqi troops -- found the bodies late Monday near Youssifiyah, where they disappeared Friday.
_________________________________ so I assume that the Iraqis will have a full scale investigation into this and the FBI will send forensic experts right. right? I am positive CAIR (who was so upset about the hadji girl song) has already dispatched their representatives as well. I'd bet good money that there were iraqi civilians who saw this shit go down but aren't gonna say a damn thing. edited to add: I got word that the bodies and the area around the bodies were booby trapped as well. |

It's the double standard world... damned if we do, damned if we don't type stuff.
Iraqi's pay no mind when an American gets killed, but are all up in arms when an Iraqi is killed by an American. Same stuff happens here, pretty white women who are murdered by their husbands get all the attention while murders occur everyday and no one hears about them because no one "cares". -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

lance...at the risk of sounding like a calloused asshole, I honestly don't care that the people in haditha were killed either.
my point is that how does one fight a war when there are two different sets of rules? we must abide by certain rules while our enemy is free to do as they please. how does one win this way? can you imagine if we had fought WWII this way? hell, the japanese would still be firing from caves on Iwo Jima and Okinawa. ever since our military has had their hands tied (vietnam) we have been on the short end of the stick. |

the longer this goes on...the more the american military's hands are tied...increasing double standard...the "hanging our own troops out to dry"...the more private contracts are going to take over as the diplomatic strongarm of the govt.
because, even as of right now, we do things in the private companies that the mil can completely wash their hands of..."hey it's a private company". I want to see an all contractor army and the amount of uninhibited cowboy destruction it could cause in the middle east... |

i didn't read your first post, i just posted my opinion at the end of the thread
i agree with you though, you can't fight a war with two different sets of rules and the military today is a pink pussified pansy ass military that canada could probably decimate |

Yea, I hate all that you can't stoop to their level bullshit. Fuck it, find some insurgents and slowly rip their head off with a crane.
