actually central market and whole foods is cheaper than market street (that shit is expensive!)
whole foods and central market are lower priced and have a larger selection of high quality foods it's a no brainer that they're better than market street you haven't been to both so there's no way you can compare and if one product is of a better quality then you have to have a lower quality product, common sense |

Central Market and Whole Foods both offer bulk items on things like grains, natural foods, and generally fresher produce/meats....I don't know what Lance means by cheaper prices because you could blow a whole paycheck buying 10 things there.
Market Street is a glorified United with a place that serves hot food. AND DO NOT TELL ME THAT MARKET STREET HAS FRESH PRODUCE. YOU CAN GO TO HELL. Overall, Market Street does well for what's out here. in general when you shop at HEB or central market, prices are lower than market street. This is just from experience of living in lubbock and also living in Austin and buying basically the same shit at each grocery store. United prices on everything tend to be more.

I generally will shop at market street, but it's kinda funny there's a couple items that in Lubbock I've only found at wal mart:
horizon organic milk (best milk ever imho)  gatorade strawberry fierce (best gatorade ever).
