If I have a verified bank account for my paypal account do I need to transfer money into paypal before I buy something? Or will paypal withdraw directly from my bank account if I have balance of $0 in paypal?

Technically you should transfer money into the account first but I believe it can auto-transfer.

it gives you the option. if you have $0 then the only option it gives you is to withdraw from the bank account or credit card.
if you have money already in your account, it gives you that option as well. --------------------  |

Yeppers, u dont have to transfer money into your paypal account....when u go thru the transaction it will ask what source u want to use....so u can use your bank acct.
