England's only score (if you can call it that), merely 3 minutes into the game

im still wondering how the fuck we are 5 in the world...yeah we have a qualified team, but i just dont see us as that good

but then again that could just because we arent a traditional powerhouse in soccer

either way, this game on monday should be an important one, czech is ranked 2 in the world (somehow) and i think it should come out as a draw or them winning, however, i hope we can pull some shit and make it through to the next round

well first off, let me enlighten you son of fucking retards.

South Korea traded japan 2002 world cup final match with an agreement that the whole world cup will be held under a name called "2002 Korea/Japan World Cup" instead of "Japan/Korea".

so no matter how many english speaking retarded red neck sons of bitches call it "Japorea", it is in fact wrong to call it that way.

anyway, USA thinks they can do anything and guess what happened ? 3:0 to Czech. ha ha

South Korea were losing 1-0 for 2/3 of the game before they finally got their shit together and won 2-1 today.

Did I mention that they only scored after their opponents had a man sent off?

Did I mention their opponents were Togo?

You can continue to talk shit right after you help me both find Togo on a map and name two of their players.

All things considered, Germany06 is shaping up to be better than Japorea02

shut up we won. you lost haha ^^

and an idea which still fosters you that a well-known country will play better in football sickens me considering that there are so many african country players who play in a REAL MAJOR FOOTBALL LEAGUES (dont be confused with MLS, lol).

Oh, I am sorry. I forgot you are prone to make such a comment since you are a red neck hick who thinks you know everything about sports and your comment alone should be solely respected in this forum.

You don't know me or anything about how "redneck hick" I may or may not be, but I will reiterate.

South Corea beat Togo.

Togo.

The challenge to name two players on the Togo team still stands.

I didn't say anything derogatory about African football in general. Anybody who knows anything about football (hint: I know more than just a little bit) can name a dozen great African footballers -- N'Kono, Milla, Oliseh, Kanu, Okocha, Eboue, Toure, Kuffour, etc etc -- but if you'd come down off that self-righteous horse and look at the Togo team for what it is, you'd realize that I'm right.

Here is a list of clubs of the Togo players:

Two play for Metz, in the French first division. The French league is not on par with the English Premiership, Spanish La Liga, Italian Serie A or German Bundesliga, but it's not terrible. One defender is a bit-player for a good German club called Bayer Leverkusen, a fourth is a deep reserve who's never actually been in a game for English powerhouse Arsenal.

The rest of the clubs represented by the Togo national team are:

Djoliba (in Africa somewhere?), Mons, Apoel Nicosia, Benevento, Young Boys Berne, Brest, Beveren, Valenciennes, Brest, Admira Wacker, Poire sur Vie, Al-Sailiya (Qatar?), Louhans-Cuiseaux, Guingamp, YF Juventus (not the real Juventus, this is a Swiss team), Ciudad Murcia, Moulins, Etoile Filante (I think this is in Togo).

Sure, this doesn't address the actual talent of the players, but let's analyze critically.

1-These guys play for an African minnow.
2-Only one of them plays professionally for a big club.
3-Nobody has ever heard of any of them.

Is it POSSIBLE that these guys are really World Class? ... I guess, but come on. It's alot more likely that they aren't.

Stop pretending South Corea's win is more than it is -- a layup against a team lucky just to be here.
