Yea, windows xp uses the win32 api, but all the new stuff in vista is in .NET. All the stuff they're doing with the new searches and stuff is all built on ADO.NET. There was a video with a couple of the developer teams explaining how easy stuff would be to program for vista because a lot of things people were already familiar with through .NET. |
