it looks like new skin for media player with mtv slapped in it and shit for sync-ing up portable mp3 players.

doesnt look all that special.

probably going to download it and then do the 'set to old skin' mode.

I use it when I don't feel like using any other programs and want my computer to crash when I try to skip ahead a song.

For songs? Hell no. I've been using Winamp for years and it works wonderfully. I do use WMP for some videos, though.

Heh... I think MS has pretty much abandoned WMP for the Mac. Good thing because it was the biggest piece of crap ever made on the mac (next to the mac version of IE). Now you can just download a plugin that makes Quicktime read WMP files.

i installed the beta and all it did was crash every single time wmp started. even the uninstall didn't work, i had to google for a "secret" uninstall method, then reboot and re-install wmp10 just to restore basic system functionality.

shame, i've heard a few good things about wmp11. probably had something to do with my method of bypassing WGA. (i have a legit license, i just couldn't find it during the middle of my last reformat.)

its got a smoother interface than irfanview for long movies and shit.

plus it does mkv.

after you install a codec.
