Oh yeah, forgot to add these calculations; let's go ahead and use the Texas Sales Tax Rate:
$599 - For 1.0 systems (not gimped in any way), before taxes, peripherals, and games $599 x 1.0825 = $648.4175 - System ONLY after taxes, before peripherals and games Current speculations of Peripheral and Game prices: Periphs going to probably not cost much, around $30. Games rumoured to cost from $60-70, so we'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Also, presumably, the system will come with one controller and a second additional controller will have to be bought. SO! O_O $648.4175 + (29.99 x 1.0825) ≈ $680.88 - System and Periph after taxes, before ANY games (rounded to 2 decimals) I am just going to calculate costs for 3 titles which can reasonably be argued will sell well to most, if not many, of the Playstation fanbois at their LOWER suspected price point: Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid 4, Grand Theft Auto. SO! O_O $680.88 + (3($59.99 x 1.0825)) ≈ 680.88 + 194.82 (also rounded to two decimals).
