You know, maybe this is the best way to solve our problems with the middle east. Just let them beat the fuck out of each other.

QUOTE (Renegadepeon @ May 12 2006, 01:04 PM) Without the aid of the USA, Iran and its allies will destroy Isreal. How so? Israel has yet to lose a conflict with any nation, no matter how large. Hell, the first war they fought was a day after the creation of the state and they were invaded by six countries. They seem to have done just fine. They received little to no help from the U.S. and were buying airplanes from Czechoslovakia. There were some other conflicts, including the Yom Kippur War, where they were invaded by Egypt and Syria with help from Iraq and they came out gaining land. No U.S. intervention there either. The U.S. supplies airplanes and tanks, that's about it. I believe the contract Israel had with Armalite (makers of M-16s) went up a few years ago and now they're receiving their weapons from Europe. During the Gulf War we had to send Patriot missiles to Israel just to keep them from retaliating. I don't worry about Israel, I think they'll be just fine in any conflict. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

QUOTE (Renegadepeon @ May 12 2006, 02:04 PM) Without the aid of the USA, Iran and its allies will destroy Isreal. I dont think that at all. Israel is quickly becoming a major world power. If Iran doesnt use nuclear weapons in fighting Israel, Im pretty confident that Israel would "win" (for lack of a better word). I know Stephan already responded, but I was thinking the exact same thing he wrote. |

Isreal does not have the manpower to fight Iran, its allies, and all the insurgencies from other countries.
Isreal will lose. If Iran attacks. The U.S. will respond. If Isreal attacks. The U.S. may respond. Frankly, we don't need this bullshit right now. We should find an alternate energy source and then start worrying about US instead of THEM. -------------------- "Ah, y'know it's funny, these people they go to sleep, they think everything's fine, everything's good.
