That shit doesn't have sensors built-in, I didn't think... In any case, there's still a very good chance that I'll buy a Wii, though PS3 is definitely #1 on my list. Fuck the 360, I've only ever played two games on the original freakin' XBox. This post has been edited by Spectatrix: May 10 2006, 12:38 PM -------------------- |

QUOTE (Spectatrix @ May 10 2006, 12:29 PM) 1) I still think most of that looks clumsy and/or dumb. Watching the people did look a little retarded, but the gameplay scenes looked pretty smooth as far as control looked, especially the Mario one. When the 'i' was shooting during metroid scene, the sounds were from the Phoenix from Perfect Dark. Don't know why I pointed that out. This post has been edited by moebary: May 10 2006, 01:29 PM |

pretty neat controller ideas. it'll be interesting to see how accurate the movements are. i.e. i could see people gettin pissed because "OMG I HIT THE BALL THAT'S BULLSHIT!!" if it's not accurate enough.
i'd be interested to see the graphics up close too. looked pretty cool in the video but up close is the only way to tell. when is it comin out? |

Now, my question is, how much do all these additions to the controller cost? Because I would imagine that the playing cost would go up if you had to buy another addition to the controller everytime you had to play a new game.

answer to both the questions:
there's a video floating around with myiamoto playing some tennis game on it, and he didn't seem to have any problems. I have a feeling it'll be fairly configureable as well as sensitive. As far as additions go, right now there's speculation that, as opposed to the $60 360 games, and potentially $70 PS3 games (WTF!), nintendo's gonna try and price their games between $40-50. If the games are around there, chances are the peripherals would be $40 at most. I'm guessing the gun would probably come with the duck hunt game, and the bundle would probably be $50-60 bucks. Then there's always gonna be cheap 3rd party versions (possibly more varieties, with that port on the the bottom, there's pretty much no end to what 3rd parties could manufacture for it) -------------------- WAIT. I'm not finished.
