Just out of curiousity to those who have them, how much do you pay for electricity/water/cable/internet each month. More or less just an estimate on how much added onto rent that would be.

i dont have a single apartment anymore but i was paying about $200+ a month in bills thats including cable television 1 year ago

this may be too old, but i had one about two years ago at summer place. bout 650 sq ft and i'd have my LP&L bill be about $150 at the hottest point in the summer (i like it cold) and ~$80-100 during the winter (elec heater as well). the LP&L bill covered electric/water/trash/sewage/etc.
i currently have cox at my house and my bill is $160. sounds like a lot but that's internet, digital cable, HD DVR + an extra digital box, and every channel they offer. figure about $75-100 for a basic cable + internet package from cox. |

At my apartment, I'm paying $400 in rent, anywhere from $50-$100 in electricity, $15 for water, $70 for cable/internet (I only have channels 2-19).

indeed, cause i have a cheap apartment in houston...585 a month, around..50 or so for electric (im almost never home, i keep the AC off), 15 or so for water, about 65 for cable ( just the basics and internet)
thats about it |

$494 a month, 720 square feet with porch...$91 a month for cable and internet, then like probably another $100 a month for water/gas/electric

and none of the apt complexes have furnished ones anymore....they are all rented for next year already

Try to rent a back house. Cheaper than a one bedroom apartment and usually a decent amount of space.
