Here's my prelim animation sans advanced lighting, particle effects, and Post-Production crap (Motion Blur, etc.)
Kinda a low resolution but hey, you'll get the jist of it, enjoy! (Feedback is appreciated; mind you this is preliminary.) http://www.arch.ttu.edu/courses/2006/sprin...eprodflash.html |

Its supposed to be a Time Trial but the actual animation isn't too difficult. Its all the modeling and materials and lighting and shit that takes a long ass time.

I think the fact that the half-spheres on the edge of the track don't move is weird. I think that was mentioned the last time you showed a version of this?

QUOTE (zetec @ Apr 18 2006, 11:26 PM) why not record yourself playing F-Zero X on an N64 emulator and then be all "HAY GUY LOOK WHAT I DID" Because that would sort of defeat the purpose of the class. And Its because they're too close together and its going too fast. Its going so fast that they look like they're not moving. However, like i said last time, a little bit of motion blur will actually improve it dramatically. |
