Extensions
Of those already listed & described, I use ForecastFox, BugMeNot, AdBlock, IE Tab, and ImageZoom. In addition: Super DragAndGo Drag a link (or highlighted text link) a little ways to open it in a new tab. Or highlight text (other than a URL) and drag it to search for that text. SessionSaver Remembers your open tabs when you close out Firefox. Very useful for when/if Firefox or your computer crashes (assuming your Firefox profile doesn't get corrupted in a computer crash). Gmail Manager Like Gmail Notifier, only seems to work a bit more reliably (I had login issues with Notifier) and can be used to track multiple accounts at once. Themes Aquatint Clean, blue skin. -------------------- |

Google Preview - "When you perform a regular Google search, your keyword turns up a list of links that fit your search, along with text snippets from each of the pages. But if you have the GooglePreview extension, Firefox will display a screenshot of each page in the list so you can see it before clicking the link."
Dictionary Tooltip - "When surfing the Web, sometimes you'll come across words you don't know the meaning of. Instead of reaching for a dictionary or heading to its online equivalent, use Dictionary Tooltip. With this extension you only need to double-click a word to bring up a window with pronunciations, definitions, and thesaurus entries." Bugmenot - Cool extension that lets you login to sites without registering. It gets a username/pass from the bugmenot.com database. I'll post the rest later. |
