Has anyone tried this ... plant? It's supposedly legal in most of the US and seems to interesting. From Wikipedia:
QUOTE Many salvia users, during high-dose out-of-body experiences, may suddenly "merge" with objects. With the significant time distortion typical of salvia, users may live a lifetime as another person, or as an inanimate object, such as a wall or a piece of furniture. The experiences can be extremely pleasant, or very frightening and confusing. You can buy it online, and though I'll probably never try it, I was wondering if anyone else has and if it's all that it's cracked up to be. -------------------- ![]() |

I've never heard it called stinkweed. Never done it, heard about it in an anthropology class. I know a guy who smokes datura-laced cigarettes, though.

QUOTE (chook @ Apr 13 2006, 02:14 PM) smoked the plant before, not that great According to wikipedia, the preferred method is eating the leaves because the temperature required to release salvinorin-A from the plant material is 240°C. So unless you used a butane torch lighter to smoke it with I doubt you would have noticed much of an effect anyways. It also says on some days you can take large doses and not notice anything, but take a small dose the next day and have a strong trip. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salvia_Divinorum |
