Has anyone tried this ... plant? It's supposedly legal in most of the US and seems to interesting. From Wikipedia:

QUOTE
Many salvia users, during high-dose out-of-body experiences, may suddenly "merge" with objects. With the significant time distortion typical of salvia, users may live a lifetime as another person, or as an inanimate object, such as a wall or a piece of furniture. The experiences can be extremely pleasant, or very frightening and confusing.

You can buy it
online, and though I'll probably never try it, I was wondering if anyone else has and if it's all that it's cracked up to be.

I've never heard it called stinkweed. Never done it, heard about it in an anthropology class. I know a guy who smokes datura-laced cigarettes, though.

According to wikipedia, the preferred method is eating the leaves because the temperature required to release salvinorin-A from the plant material is 240°C.

So unless you used a butane torch lighter to smoke it with I doubt you would have noticed much of an effect anyways.

It also says on some days you can take large doses and not notice anything, but take a small dose the next day and have a strong trip.
