it's an uppity all-you-can-eat asseteria is what it is...
"uppity" is what you make of it. I've been going to uppity places all my adult life. why? because more often than not they have better food, better drinks, and better looking gals. the key is to not buy into their BS and just be yourself. you are a paying customer just like anyone else. go there in your flipflops and jeans if you want fuck em. enjoy your life. fuck everyone else's hangups..that is their problem, not yours. and more often than not the girls like the laid back confident guy more than those trying so hard like the artfag, emo scenster, or metrosexual. |

ghengis grill: mongolion style goodness. BD's mongolian bbq went outta business, rumor has it that the new plano location stole all their biddnizz. (seriously could be the case) mi cocina: lotsa messican food, good chicken tortilla soup. saltgrass: steakhouse, nothing too fancy except OH MY GOD THEIR CHICKEN TORTILLA SOUP IS MOTHERFUCKING DIVINE kobe grill: bit asspensive, but pretty cool. cook in front of ya style shit. Ft. Worth Tokyo Cafe: checked this place out while driving through, they got miso soup and they're fucking good. decently priced too. -------------------- WAIT. I'm not finished.

El Paso (not that anyone cares, but Im bored at work)
Avila's Great Mexican food and great, friendly service. A lot of people go there because its a quiet and relaxing environment. They also have great chips and salsa while you wait. The food is out promptly. They have a kids menu for those kids that dont like Mexican food. They get a lot of compliments on their enchiladas. Rancher's Grill This restaurant is awesome. It can be SUPER busy there, but they will always get you seated fast and your meal will be out before you know it. They have an awesome salad buffet and then a great menu with a lot of different things to chose from like chicken, steak, etc. I personally love their fried okra. Village Inn This place has gone down the drain a little bit over the years, but its still one of my favorite restaurants to go to when Im at home. Its a great place to get breakfast (think Dennys or a cheaper version of ihop) and the service is usually really fast. Most of the restaurants are getting pretty old though. Its fun to go hang out there at midnight. These are just a few of the billions of restaurants in El Paso. I swear Lubbock has crappy restaurants. |
