Also there is this little economic term called inflation...

think about it though, illegals don't only make the burgers them selves, they work on the farms to produce the lettuce, they pick the tomatoes, they do whatever it is you do to the pickles. The entire supply chain is dependant on them. You either pay more in taxes to pay 14.99 for the burger indirectly or you pay 14.99 for the burger at the counter.

But being a cs major you wouldn't know about supply chains, inflation or anything else that makes our economy go around... I am glad you spelled McDonalds correctly this time though.

Either way, you just end up substituting illegals for white trash rednecks(mom and dad to you lance).

hey mrs. holier than thou, it doesn't take some genius out of tech's BA (oxymoron?) to understand a supply chain or inflation. lance may not have been right about the illegals or their correlation to the price of the burgers, but mcdonalds was cheaper 10 years go, and the inflated price of the burgers is nowhere near the 1600% you suggested, indirect or not.

now, go ahead and show everybody where that $14.99 (which is obviously correct to the penny) is taken from our tax dollars.

But I would have extra money in my pocket because I wouldn't be paying for medical care, taxes, etc for her family who are in this country illegally and don't pay any taxes and mooch off of taxpayers.

I think overall I'm siding with the idea of enforcing much stricter border laws, patrols, fences etc - but just making all current residents legal. Make them pay taxes and just continue living here.

But then what ? Then they are subject to more fair wages. Then prices go up, as well as taxes to pay for the big fence and more. Then we get more totally intelligent e-flame wars bitching about that. blah blah blah
