For those that have graduated, how long did your Tech e-mail continue to work/forward?

After I graduated, it took about 6 months for my email to be cut off. Apparently they occasionally go through and delete accounts that are more than 6 months overdue, so there's no guarantee that it will be gone on the 6 month anniversary, but, unless they changed the policy, it won't go away before 6 months.

i never used mine but somehow i'm STILL getting emails from my goddamn advisor, no matter how many times i tell her to take me off her goddamn list

half of them aren't even academic emails, most of them are "OMG THIS PUPPY IS HOMELESS ADOPT HIM PLZ" emails that I really don't give a shit about.

suppose to be 6 months

if it gets cut before then, you can usually call up & ask them to open it back up so you can fwd your addy & get emails (it'll usually be open for 3 days)

it works normally for 6 months after you graduate. then it goes into disactivated mode, which means its still there, but you can only access it one more time (by calling 742-help) for the next 6 months. after that (1 year now) it will be deleted alltogether.
