If you really want to have fun, go try out wakeboarding just once. If you have someone to teach you how to do it right you will be hooked.

dude.

my god.

get a clue.

It takes a *LOT* more strength and stamina to get pulled at 50mph cutting the wake and shit on a slolm ski than it does wakeboarding.

I cant even fucking climb the ladder back up on the boat after 10 minutes of slolom skiing hard ....

You can wakeboard an awful lot longer than you can slolom skiing because you're not using NEAR the upper body strength doing that shit....No, I don't do all the flips and shit, but you aren't moving at near the speed doing that shit and thus not generating near the forces on your body, etc ....

wakeboarding definatley does not take the wind out of you like slolim sikking does.

after doing both, i think if you were casually wakeboarding along, like on a slalom then a slalom is harder because of the speed of the boat. but like you said doing all the flips, jumps and stuff, wakeboarding is harder. if you fall, hitting the water at 20 mph face first hurts. but who really cares which is harder. this is about how jetskis suck.

Have you ever hit the water going 50+ mph with any part of you body? I've hit the water going a little over 50 fucking up cutting the wake on a slolom ski, had my ski fall off and bop he in the head on my way down, and literally had to swim for 5 seconds to reach the surface again, and afterwards it felt like I didn't have a nose or eyebrows...

I'm sorry, but slolom skiing is way more physical than wakeboarding is.

I will freely admit I have only wakeboarded several times, and I am not trying at all to say you don't or wont get tired doing it, but I know for a fact that slolom skiing hardcore style is a LOT more demanding than doing flips and shit would be....

I wasn't talking about the strength required. I was talking about the beating that your knees take when landing on the water after an 8+ foot drop. Take a look at a wb magazine sometime and see how many pro's have to wear knee braces after they have torn their knees up. Wb'ng also takes alot more upper and lower body strength then you may realize.

I could believe the knee brace, but I sincerely dbout it takes more upper body strength ... I mean seriously, when you cut the wake going that fast on a slolom ski, you are literally slowing a 2000-ish pound boat down by a couple miles an hour. I am not kiddingt when I say I literally can't even climb the ladder back into the boat after 10 minutes of that.
