QUOTE (kcroxyoursox @ Apr 5 2006, 02:52 PM) thats the reason i use the straightener ive tried hair products to keep the frizz down or lessen the afro effect, but it just makes my hair greasy and i feel like i have to wash it again! even when i straighten, it comes out weird. too poofy and yeah, most products give that greasy look, but that dove stuff is good i found it funny that you shave your legs while you let the conditioner sit. i do the same |

I wash my hair every 2-3 days. If I were to wash it more than that it would really dry out. It's pretty dry from coloring it often and blow drying it. I use shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair so that it has a UV filter in it. I also put a leave in conditioner on my hair right before I blow dry it. My hair is naturally wavy and it's really easy to straighten with just a hair dryer and a round brush. I use Small Talk by Toni and Guy to give it some body and then I spray Headrush (also by Toni and Guy) on it after it's dry. That makes it shiny and it smells great.

I have curly/wavy thick hair, but I condition every day. My hair gets really weird if I don't, so yeah. But I shampoo, then wash my face, then rinse, then put on conditioner, wash my body, shave, rinse, and I am done. I put on some anti-frizz crap after I have towel dried and combed my hair. How super exciting! I never blow dry my hair, or it is disasterous fro time and straightening takes waaaay too long for my low maintenence self!
