i'm looking for a free (at least temporarily) messageboard. i know invision and websitetoolbox aren't.
anyone know of any? EDIT: looking to start one, not join one -------------------- only here to talk sports occationally

he's starting up an aryan brotherhood messageboard
phpBB is free but lacks the features of invision board and vbulletin (the two most popular) any invision 1.X versions and the 2.0.X versions are free, those were the ones they released before they got greedy... i have an archive of all the free versions plus some copies of a few of the pay versions if you want them in my opinion invision board 1.3.1 final (the version this board runs) is the best message board software available... any 2.X version of invision board blows donkey balls and you have to pay for the suckiness to boot plus invision board 1.3.1 was out for a long long time before any other versions were released so it has a shit ton of skins and mods available for it |

SMF blows everything out of the water. It has the features of invision and is free like phpBB. And it's more up to date and secure than an old version of invision will be.
