My last job was 17 days/year combined PTO. Sucked ass, but it's pretty typical for jobs here.

We also get 15 holidays a year, most of it around Christmas/New Years.

I get 10 vacation days, 10 sick days, 10 holidays. But we can also do comp time so it's nice (can work extra to bank up time quickly).

15 vacation (start w/ 12)
12 sick
15 holiday
------------
42 days total

I get 14 combined a month, not as good and only 12 holidays, but work is very flexable and paid OT.

It's so awesome to lose one's vehicle remote...

Now I have to lock/unlock the old fashioned way.

How do I go about replacing this? Buy the remote for my vehicle make/model/year online then take it somewhere to get programmed to my vehicle?

Find a dealership. They should be able to program you a new one from your VIN, same as they can do for regular keys.

Do I have to go through an official Jeep dealership, or the place from which I bought the car?

An official Jeep dealership would definitely be able to do it, but you can call up the place you bought the car from and find out. Looks like you can also get aftermarket remotes online, which I frankly find a little scary. When I got a replacement key from the VIN, I had to show proof of ownership.

Amazing how some people from high school never change. And still manage to piss you off in the same ways 10 years later.
