ya know, somone suggested I get a single speed bike.
I use maybe 6 of the 27 gears on the one I just bought. Maybe there was something to be said for getting a single speed bike.... -------------------- I r Ur Gawd!

I was gonna get a front and back suspension bike but the cost difference is too much. Got myself a used Jamis Trail X1 for 200. It was pretty much unused. I think that's good enough for riding in the city. -------------------- |

That bike company has some interesting rear suspension systems. I was gonna get a front and back suspension bike but the cost difference is too much. Got myself a used Jamis Trail X1 for 200. It was pretty much unused. I think that's good enough for riding in the city. Hehehe ... this bike hasn't seen pavement yet I'm diggin the rear suspension ... lock it out on long climbs, mixed riding on pro-pedal, then open it up for the downhill ... handles like a dream -------------------- I r Ur Gawd!
