Is it possible to put add-in NSFW tag, like insert NSFW image/url?
[NSFW]http://url[/NSFW] -------------------- |

I think you're shooting yourself in the foot allowing that stuff at all, IMHO. At least, if your goal is to get tons of people to use the site.

Well, I think some things are perfectly ok to link to, as long as they are marked as NSFW. Things that won't be allowed are posts full of naked women, sorry Dogmeat. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

So... all NSFW stuff linked? No LRAR exception? (Thank God...)

Well look at someone like Dogmeat or Brandon's definition of NSFW vs someone else's.

Great. So should I go delete half of LRAR?

20 post minimum to visit lrar.
encourages initial posting, and discourages leaving due to seeing this content. -------------------- Don't sweat the petty, pet the sweaty.

Hartmann, if you need me to do any kind of moderating/cleanup, just let me know. I'll gladly take care of it.

20 post minimum to visit lrar. encourages initial posting, and discourages leaving due to seeing this content. 1. What makes you think that after 20 posts someone will be less offended by those types of things? 2. Requiring someone to make X number of posts before doing Y is detrimental to them using the site. I know several forums I'm on might have say, 40 active members, but then have 200 "lurkers" who eventually start posting once they see something they want to post about. |

Glad Hartmann threw out the green for the site.
I'm up for being a mod/admin/whatever was suggested earlier (since I'm a loser and check the forums all the time, lol). And I agree: I think NSFW images should be linked and clearly marked, even in LRAR (You should be able to read any thread at any time without getting in trouble). NO NSFW AVATARS OR SIGS. -------------------- |

Yeah, I don't like the idea of having a minimum post restriction on a forum. I'd rather just clean up LRAR. Frankly I don't care if there's *some* NSFW stuff on the forums, but it needs to be LINKED and it can't be pervasive.

Google likes to browse the whole site. I regularly had searches coming back here. Part of the reason I started posting again actually.

the only other tech message board i know of is raiderpower. maybe something that can lure their users over? but not compete..that wouldn't happen obviously. if you redo the forums and stuff, they should all be sfw and normal, and then just have one where all the forsaken/dogmeat/posts would go. as far as modding, less mods. you only need 3-5 and just have them all global instead of one for each thing. First, I don't post NSFW images in the general forums. Never have, and I'm not planning on starting. Second, if you think I'm going to change my posting habits even slightly you are sadly mistaken. Third, if you don't like it, ban me, I really could give a flying fuck -------------------- I r Ur Gawd!
