and we wouldn't miss texas. a match made in heaven I hope you enjoy walking to work or paying $10.99/gallon. In all seriousness, I doubt Perry wasn't saying this in jest because of what he said afterward about "not seceding, we have no reason to". -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

and we wouldn't miss texas. a match made in heaven Seriously, shut the fuck up you arrogant hippie douchebag. We get it: you hate Texas. What do you want, a goddamn soy-chai latte and an oat-grain organic cookie for your troubles? ::EDIT:: And for the record, I'm against secession. I wouldn't enjoy Texas becoming a third-world country. And I think it's LOL-tacular how people in one of Perry's speaking functions where he mentioned secession were yelling out "SECEDE! SECEDE!" whilst waving American flags... This post has been edited by Psykopath: Apr 16 2009, 01:48 PM -------------------- |

What do you want, a goddamn soy-chai latte and an oat-grain organic cookie for your troubles? Ooh ooh, I'll take both! Texas could feasibly secede and be alright, but it'd be a chaotic transition for both it and the US for the first decade+. -------------------- |

He said once before that he wouldn't mind spending 10.99 a gallon. Too bad Dumas Texas provides heating oil for pretty much all that state. Poor greenies would have to cut down trees for heat. -------------------- Southern Rock, beer and bears!

This doesn't make any difference in your statement. You're confusing confidence with arrogance. It sounds to me as though you feel those are one and the same. you're wondering if an elitest liberal pussy knows anything about confidence.... hell, the bastard still thinks it's the governments job to babysit him and tuck him in, and keep all the scary things away... -------------------- |

Didn't you go to school here? Did you wake up and cringe every morning or throw-up knowing that you were living in such a crappy place? I have no interest in secession. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |
