i agree with blue. we need to be consistent. we cant get mad at brandon because the boobs are there if no one says anything to dogmeat about the mouse banging some chick. (the eeek eeek harder part doesnt help either.)

I can't speak for the other mods, but I don't consider something NSFW if you have to look at the image close up or for a fair amount of time to see that it's depicting sex or what have you. Brandon has had at least one avatar that would be considered NSFW if I didn't use that limiting criterion... same with a couple of sigs.

And I don't see anybody complaining about Rocky's avatar, when it's just as NSFW as Dogmeat's was.

We're trying to be consistent without ruling with a heavy hand.

its a moot point to argue about it now (thank you dm) but am i the only one who didnt need a magnifying glass or twenty minutes to see what it was?

and on a side note, christine when you said earlier the mods had already discussed it, was that done on the boards somewhere that we can see? if there is reasoning behind something that i could have read myself, i would have liked to have read it and then based what i said off of that (or maybe not said anything if i could have seen the reasoning and it made sense)

The discussion was in the moderators' forum, which is not viewable by regular members. I started the thread to ask what other mods thought about it. cmac, Psykopath, and Jessica all said that it seemed fine, presumably either because you need to be close to the monitor to make out what it is (as in, someone standing over your shoulder or sitting next to you probably wouldn't be able to distinguish what it is) or because it's not explicit, like boobs flopping around are.
