I like how much this is blown out of proportion...

Bush is absolutely right in his response.
He's quick on his feet though, I will say that, especially for a 62 year old. Reading the story of the man who threw the shoes, he was imprisoned by the Americans for a while and made a prisoner by the Iranians. I feel bad for Bush. He is probably really ready for this whole Presidency thing to be over with. The man is probably exhausted. Plus, I wouldn't doubt that he is one of the top 5 most hated men in the world, which is sad. He just was President during a really rough period.
