It's been upper abdominal pain, not lower, and no diarrhea. Liver enzymes elevated, but nothing else weird. And one trip to Temple later... still know nuthin'. it could be unrelated to the GI tract, might be something torn in the muscle wall? -------------------- Southern Rock, beer and bears!

it could be unrelated to the GI tract, might be something torn in the muscle wall? I dunno. I would think that would lead to chronic pain, not acute. *shrugs* They have another hundred dozen or so more tests to run yet, so yeah... But hey, I got a sushi dinner out of it! Apparently both while they were putting me down and when I was in recovery I was gushing on about getting sushi... so that's what we did. Damned if I remember saying any of that, though. Fucking sedatives. I remember bits and pieces of being in the recovery room, but mainly it's blank. -------------------- |

I have Crohns.
It aint no walk in the park. It's in the same family as arthritis and other autoimmune deficiencies....I guess it's great that I have an overactive immune system (explains why I rarely get sick) but dammit all to hell why does it have to attack my intestines. -------------------- "Ah, y'know it's funny, these people they go to sleep, they think everything's fine, everything's good. They wake up the next day and they're on fire."

With Crohn's you'd have an elevated white blood cell count, right?
