The wording is vague. Were they fighting over a parking spot, as in who gets to park there? Or were they fighting over a parking spot, as in standing in the lot, towering over parking spots? The way I read it made me think the latter. If they are there to pick their kids up from school, then parking lot spaces are first come, first served, no?

See, this is what is completeley retarded about the whole "hate crime" thing.

What difference does it make if I punch you for:

a) Not putting your mouth around my penis and bobbing your head up and down
For the hell of it
c) Because you said I was a doo-doo-head
d) Because you're black and I hate black people
e) Because I felt like punching somone.

Bottom line is, for whatever reason, I still punched you in the face with malicious intent. So you're trying to "weight" the motive behind me punching you in the face, when the end result is that whatever punishment for this crime is doled out it's completley irrelevent what the motive was because the end result was the same: I punched you in the face for whatever reason I felt like punching you in the face for.

The whole "hate crime" thing is nothing more than a wee-wee woo-woo feel-good measure purveyed by the same liberal anti-ickyness hippocrits that couldn't hit their ass with both hands if they had help from every homosexual in the country.

And the kicker is, if it's somone's choice to have an abortion and kill their own kid ... but I should be jailed for life for punching somone in the face "because they're black" ... this is all happy and good in life.
