umm... he thinks he can have any type of attitude that he wants and get away with it because he is the almight great Bob Knight who hasnt done shit for our school. well, i take that back, when i tell someone where i go to school now they say "oh isnt that where Bobby Knight coaches?" instead of saying "uhh never heard of it". BIG FUCKING WHOOP. People here worship him like he is a god...and why I will never know because as stated before HE HASNT DONE SHIT FOR TEXAS TECH.

i just dont know how much reliability sites with names like dailyhaha and goofball can have. i did watch the video and i know that was him, so im not denying it happened and im not saying its just a lookalike or anything like that. but part of it is also the selective editing. pretty much anybody can be made to look like a horrible person if enough spin is put on any situation. im sure there are just as many things hes done or said that could make him look like the next mother teresa.

have you never wanted to tell people criticizing you to kiss your ass? have you never told someone how you really felt about them, no holding back? have you never gotten mad because someone said something about you that was either not valid or not from a valid source? just because theres a camera isnt his face doesnt mean he should become this new person and have nothing but praises for the world around him. i think its more honorable to say what hes really thinking than to try to sugarcoat it.

im not saying im for or against him. hell i didnt go to a single game this season. but i am friends with some of the players who are consistently in class and i think his philosophy about education is a good one:

All you see is what the media puts out there, so all you're judging him on are a few incidents where a man lost his temper (I'm not condoning these incidents). If I judged you on just some things you've done in the past I could make the conclusion that you're not a very respectable person either, but I don't do that.

its whatever. she wants to say that my sources might not be credible. thats fine. i can find the same damn video somewhere else, but the fact is that your "credible" sites dont usually have videos. I could go hunting around for "more credible sites" with the same video but it proves nothing and would take forever. I have seen those clippets on tv before. i never said he wasnt a good coach. i said that he hasnt done much of his "great coaching" at tech. when he gets a 4th national champtionship and its while he is here at Tech, ill be impressed. Hell, if he could get us to the top 8 I might be impressed. Again, my point is that his great coaching doesnt seem to be happening at tech.

What has Knight done for TECH, how many other college basketball coaches have the pull and circle of influence to bring Supreme Court Justices to a small town like lubbock, to speak in front of part of the University.

The publicity helps Texas TECH out a lot also, just having Bobby Knight here helps

Every year Bobby has a basketball summer camp for area High schools, and meets everyone of the kids

Apparently he also donated a lot of money to the library also

Its not a big suprise that TECH is known for its sports, the market research that has been done proves that. . .however most schools are noted for that, only schools like harvard and stanford are none for their academics
