So yesterday I was playing in this volleyball tournament at a local park. About half way through the day about 80 people showed up dressed as pirates. I never heard of hashes until this but it sounds interesting. This is the local one for Tucson. Has anyone heard of this or done one before? http://www.hashingtucson.com/ -------------------- Southern Rock, beer and bears! |

They call the guys who serve food in frat houses hashers ... it's usually a frat memeber trying to make a little extra cash if I remember right.

I did my first hash yesterday. Its basically a chase by following a trail marked by flour on the ground and chasing it for 3 to 6 miles, with possible bad trails and choice points until a point is reached where there is beer and food. I did two in a row and probably ran 8 miles plus change. Its pretty fun and exhausting.
