Ok, not really, but some pirates seized a ship carrying 33 Russian Tanks and tons of ammunition which were sold by the Ukraine to Kenya. So great, now some terrorists are going to get tanks...

Why does Kenya need 33 Soviet tanks?

I was wondering why Kenya spent the money on 33 tanks instead of food for their citizens.

Is anyone really surprised that former soviet republics would sell arms to third world countries? This isn't exactly a new phenomenon.
