Let the companies fail, let the investors suffer, and it will all be fine.

What gets me is the people who complain about Bush bailing these companies out are the same ones who want Obama and his nationalized healthcare. We're spending a ton of money making sure these companies survive, what do people think it is going to cost to give everyone health benefits?

About 65 billion dollars...

A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?

It was a rhetorical question, but even 65 billion is excessive.

I mean, what's the deficit at now? $410 billion?

Geez, we tell people not to spend money they do not have and we're the worst example.

You are smokin some good crack right there. The US in all spent over 2.1 trillion on healthcare in 2006 (link). 16% of our GDP. You think Barry is going to somehow shrink that down to 65 billion?!?! Hell no. What scares me is that loser wants to take that cost on at the government level and tax the shit outta everyone to pay for it.
