The left equivalent of Fox news is a better known media source. Maybe you've heard of it.... CBS.

Nice try. Sounds like a propaganda Site.

ya, she looked like she ate up gibson when gibson asked her about the bush doctrine. this wasn't even him trying to get her to say something wrong, she just made herself look like an idiot

haha, yeah that response brought about much laughter here.

He picked Palin because she has executive experience, but does not have Washington experience.

Do you just read a FoxNews teleprompter for your views?
It was all about "experience, experience, experience" (in the most general/vague of ways) before the VP picks, but then McCain picks someone with less public experience, and that's A-OK.

There's a lengthy list of similar outbursts through the years: McCain pushing a woman in a wheelchair, trying to get an Arizona Republican aide fired from three different jobs, berating a young GOP activist on the night of his own 1986 Senate election and many more.

pushing a wheelchair out of his way and pushing a woman are two different things. The woman and several others were harassing him about MIA POW's and he wanted to continue about his way. In fact, one woman showed aggression before he did. 1) He probably doesn't like to talk much about that part of his life and 2) It probably frustrates him that they come to him for help when he really can't do anything. I don't really see anything wrong with what he did.

As far as the rest of that SHIT, I like a guy who gets fired up. So he fucking cusses. Shit, what is so wrong with that?

No, and I pretty much never watch Fox News, or any other news except local NBC/ABC every now and then.

Less public experience than who?? Palin has more "public" experience (wtf that means) than Obama does.

QUOTE (Psykopath @ Sep 12 2008, 02:40 PM) *

I didn't flip flop, neither did McCain. McCain brings the experience, Palin brings the fresh new face which has some executive experience. I don't see the problem, or the flip flop you seem to think exists. McCain disses on Obama's experience because he's running for PRESIDENT. IMHO the president should have more experience than what Obama has. VPs are often inexperienced and from non-Washington related offices.

You people are really grasping for straws. We get it, you don't like McCain or Palin. IMHO don't vote for them and STFU. It's easy to dig dirt on both sides. Maybe starting a thread about the great things Obama is going to do and why you think he'll be a great president would spark some more interesting discussion than the pathetic nitpicking you and the rest of the left are doing.

No, just that the negative, low brow nitpicking is getting old. I guess only us "proud Americans" get sick of it. We're not discussing anything, it's just a constant stream of yall trying to find some stupid tidbit that has nothing to do with anything. It's sad and pathetic. Is this the kinda shit you care about when you vote for president? Were you considering voting for McCain/Palin before, and now you've changed your mind? Or do you think any McCain supporters have even considered changing their vote over anything we've discussed in this thread? No way.

Why don't you guys post here when you find some relevant shit worth discussing.

But you can't deny that there's a significant amount of "celebrity" to Sarah Palin.

Are you kidding? I had never even heard of her before she was nominated.

A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?

More like a dirty tactic to pick up Hillary supporters

I've never heard of Obama before he ran for president either... Point being? All things aside, it's just two things that bothers me: 1) McCain went on a long diatribe about how inexperienced Obama is. This is fine, comparatively Obama is significantly less experienced I don't think Obama him self would even deny that (he went and picked a VP who has loads of experience to offset his inexperience in foreign affairs), but this theory falls through the crack when McCain pick someone who barely has any experience at all. 2) They seem to be treating this like some sort of popularity competition. Granted before Palin came about, a lot of media hype was on Obama, putting him on as the political celebrity of the new millennium. McCain camp hated this, and I agree, people should be looking at policies, etc and not how popular someone is. Instead of acting on what he's been saying this whole time, McCain seem to have picked someone so that she would be more of a celebrity than Obama. I mean wtf, there are many many many people in the republican camp, one of them is gotta be similar in belief as Palin, but with more experience. Okay, I know this is a competition, the point is to win, perhaps even by any means necessary. This is, however, seems utterly wrong.

Because i know i would rather have an inexperienced president yet experienced VP (rather than the opposite....) whistling.gif
