Clone Wars was pretty decent....

Jabba the Hutt's uncle was REALLY gay sounding....like homogay.

And Anakin's Padawan gets kinda annoying....but it was a good opening to the cartoon series.

Quick update for you Punisher fans.

The new Punisher: War Zone coming out in Dec. IS NOT and I must repeat...IS NOT...a sequel to the piece of crap they made in 2004. Following the recent trend, they decided to revamp the Punisher story and are now following the comic series. The previous movie was going in another direction (the main actor Thomas Jane admitted he actually disliked the Punisher comics) and the crew that was ready to make this "sequel" ended up walking out. So the director, with a new crew (and actors), decided to write a whole new script and follow the MAX line of the Punisher series. There has actually been a pretty big response to the new script and people are getting excited about the final product.

So.

Recap.

NOT A SEQUEL.

NEW MAIN STAR.

DARKER, MORE BLOOD, MORE GUNS, and RATED R (FINALLY!).

So I've been reading the Watchmen graphic novel and it's fantastic. If the movie is anything like the novel it might blow some of the more popular comic book movies out of the water.

Let's just say Dr. Manhattan is one ultimate badass.

It was awesome....THAT is how a war movie should be done.
Realistic violence+++++++
First Blood was still the best Rambo, and is one of my all-time favorite action flicks. But this one is definitely better than 2 & 3 by a shit-load.

My feasting will have to wait until after 10/12.

But after then, yes...yes we shall.

And have another horror movie marathon around Halloween.

And play some shitty NES games while drinking Rolling Rock. rocky.gif

I've only seen short trailers and poster art but the movie looks nothing like the Spirit. It would be more appropriately titled Sin City: The Spirit. Miller said it will not be nostalgic and that it will be scarier than the comic while preserving its core ideas. "My city screams. She is my lover. And I am her Spirit." Rigghhhttttt that is totally the feel of the Spirit and not Sin City.
